As bookkeepers we bridge the gap between you, the business owner, and the Chartered Accountant who files your tax returns at the end of the financial year.

As bookkeepers we are across the business accounts on a regular basis, managing the day-today financial systems and ensuring compliance with the myriad of regulations that apply to small business.

We will tailor our services to meet your own particular requirements, whether that be for a short-term (such as set-up and training) or on an on-going basis.

Bookkeeping to us means:

  • Filing your GST, and payday filing accurately and on time

We do:

  1. Coding of bank entries and bank reconciliations
  2. Creating and coding Customer invoices and debt collection
  3. Coding and entering Supplier invoices and creditor payment schedules
  4. GST Returns
  5. Monthly financial reports
  6. End of year reconciliations and review (ready for your Accountant)
  7. Assistance with budgets and business planning
  8. Liaison with other parties as requested – eg. the bank, IRD, Accountant.

The process:

We will meet with you initially to find out about your business situation prior to recommending the services that would benefit you.

An engagement letter will be drawn up to clearly set out our obligations, services agreement and charges.


Payroll Services:

  1. We can recommend and implement the software most suitable to your business.
  2. We can maintain the payroll data, set-up new employees and terminate departing employees.
  3. Process the payroll weekly/fortnightly/monthly, ensure payday filing is lodged with the IRD and advise you of your monthly PAYE payment.
  4. Provide reports on leave entitlements
  5. Assist with recruitment and HR issues.


Systems Set-up and Training:

We can:

  1. Organise your subscriptions for the software products that suit your business best
  2. Implement the software and set-up the required information
  3. Import historical data/conversion balances to the new system
  4. Provide one-on-one training in using the system
  5. Write policies and procedures for your office systems.


Pricing Options:

We charge on an hourly basis to begin with. If you prefer a monthly set fee we can apply that after three months of service (to give us all an idea of the time required for your business).

  • Bookkeeping standard rate: $65 per hour
  • Payroll processing: $50 per hour
  • Computer system implementation and training: $125 per hour.
